We'll probably do the Record World charts 1973-82 next. The Music Vendor charts probably won't happen anytime soon. Our copies would need a lot of restoration work to make them look presentable.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I was wondering why Volume 1 didn't start with those charts, but I figured it was because the Record World charts would be a better seller.

Their next book is "Pop Annual: 1955-2016". Hope "Record World Singles Charts 1973-1982 Volume 2" is released later this year.

We are currently working on the Record World Singles Charts 1973-1982 (should be out later this year). We are also working on an updated Top Pop Albums 1955-2016 book (which will incorporate the cuts back into the actual book).

Paul, I'm sorry that Country Annual'44-'97, wasn't a big seller. I'd love to know the country top 40 weekly peaks, from '98, onward.

Paul, I'm sorry that Country Annual'44-'97, wasn't a big seller. I'd love to know the country top 40 weekly peaks, from '98, onward. The Billboard Yearbooks had that info up through the late 2000s (it was even in the last Yearbook, which wasn't even published as a book and only had three sections - Hot 100, Hot 100 Annual, and Country Annual). Unfortunately that last one is sold out at Record Research, but the rest are there.

I'm glad that Joel Whitburn decided to bring back the track listings for all charted albums-The previous edition of "Top Pop Albums" didn't feature them.

Paul-That was a great presentation you made-I too am a full blown music geek & I own most of Joel's books-They're definitely worth their weight in gold.

Paul, some of my chart hound memories are the same as yours. There's listening to the countdown with my older brother, buying the first top 40 book at a B. Dalton in 1983, finding back issues at a library. And Milwaukee is my hometown. Small world...

Love it! Someone that also listened to 63 KDWB and American Top 40.
