Enjoyed their last 2 releases:
Pop Memories 1900 - 1940 Cash Box Top 100 Charts - The Sixties
Maybe they will release the 60's and 70's Pop Chart reprints for Record World magazine.

Wish they'd do a Radio & Records release.

Didn't Record Research once have a book chronicling the Christian charts (based on 20: The Countdown Magazine) for sale? I could have sworn that one of the catalogs I got in the mail from them had that one included, but they don't seem to anymore.

CCM Magazine (or some publisher) put out one based on the CCM magazine Pop Charts back in like 99 or 2000. I have that one.

In addition to updates on their Billboard-centric books (I'd like to see updates on Top Pop Albums and Top Adult Songs, as well as a re-release of Hot 100 Charts: The 90s), a Radio & Records/Mediabase book would be great.
It seems like they're focusing on Record World and Cashbox stuff for now, so we'll probably get more genre chart books and chart reprints from those sources. Top Pop Singles is also due for an update. They've been putting those out every two years for a while now, but the last update was three years ago. Personally, I'm fine with releases every three years for that book.

The book I was referring to is called "hothits" and was published by CCM Publications in 1999 and covers the CCM Contemporary Hit Radio charts from 1978-1999.

^How would I go about ordering that one, Paul? (If it's still available, that is).

Doubt it is. You'd have to look on eBay or Amazon from a 3rd party reseller. Just an FYI, this is the CHR chart. Not the Christian AC chart most stations played and the countdowns usually focused on.

There was also a book called Hot Hits based on the CCM A/C Christian charts dated 1978-2001; which I have. I think I got it through Amazon years ago. The author is Jeffrey Lee Brothers if you want to do a search for a copy. Hope that is helpful.

I received the email yesterday also. I plan to place my order in the next day or two. I bought each of the last two issues of this series, with charts through 1988 and 2000. This new one goes back to 1940 instead of starting at 1955 like the other two. The 2000 version has some great charts at the back that I hope are updated for 15 more years. But the main reason that I am buying this new offering is that I don't have real good records of what songs hit the top 10 on Billboard since 2011. This book will cover that shortage of mine until the next editions of the "Pop Annual" and/or "Top Pop Singles" are updated. It is also a real handy book for figuring out which day of the week it is way back when because almost all of the chart dates are Saturday, so it is easy to figure out from there.

We're just starting work on the new Top Pop Singles 1955-2015 book. We'll start advertising it in the next month or two for release by June/July.
