From Facebook: 105-7 KOKZ 15 hours ago 105-7 KOKZ was an American Top 40 affiliate from 1982 until Casey left the show in 1988. We've been thrilled to be able to rebroadcast the shows from the 1970's and 1980's - and we are proud to pay tribute to the one & only King Of Countdowns, Casey Kasem with a weekend of AT40! We decided to keep the dates in line and so all of the shows are from June (other than the debut show from 1970).

Thanks for doing this. In addition to the tribute special noted above, the Facebook page for KOKZ notes the following shows will be aired (10 shows): Friday, June 203PM-6PM: July 4, 1970 (debut of AT40) 6PM-10PM: June 18, 1983 Saturday, June 219AM-Noon: June 24, 1978 Noon-4PM: June 9, 1984 4PM-7PM: June 8, 1974 7PM-11PM: June 12, 1982 Sunday, June 228AM-Noon: June 22, 1985 Noon-3PM: June 21, 1975 3PM-7PM: June 28, 1980 7PM-11PM: June 16, 1979 Can't complain there. Some good shows, and a wide variety of eras to hear. Brian

Was just thinking – since Premiere has allowed stations to air the Kasem tribute show next weekend (July 5-6) as well, I supposed KOKZ may air a second marathon of shows as well, particularly on July 4. That is, to pick up the years not included in this weekend's marathon (in this case, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1981 and 1986). Two of those will probably be "regular" shows for next week, who knows? We'll just has to wait and see, as they say. Brian

Kix102.9 (Raleigh, NC) will air the Kerri & Mike tributes three times: Friday 6pm, Saturday 10am, and Sunday 10pm. I don't know if there's any streams available for this station.

There are no streams. This local station for me stopped streaming 4 years ago. I won't be hearing the special on this station either for that matter after catching it tonight on the Youngstown, Ohio station.

A word of warning: the Youngstown area is getting some storms, so parts of the show might possibly get interrupted by the Emergency Alert System.

As soon at Casey's Top 40 started, they aired it on Sunday mornings, with Shadoe's AT 40 on Sunday nights. They dropped AT 40 sometime in 1990, and dropped CT 40 in the fall of 1991 when they changed from CHR to HAC. I was pretty upset with KOKZ at the time. Thought, they did pick AT 40 up again in 1993 - not sure when they dropped it, it was sometime before it left US airwaves in 1994. Glad to hear they are paying tribute to Casey, despite dropping his show in 1991!
