I'm pleased to report that "A Tribute to the King of the Countdown: Casey Kasem," a brand-new 2-hour special hosted by Kerri and Mike Kasem, is being offered by Premiere to stations, with an air window of this weekend through July 7th.
The show features Kerri and Mike reminiscing about their legendary Dad, and they cover many facets of Casey (including his cartoon voices, acting career, philanthropic work, etc...but especially his radio work), and the show features some special surprises along the way.
I've heard some previews, and let's put it this way ... they are what finally moved me to tears over Casey's passing. Guess this is what made it all real for me.
If it's airing in your area, don't miss it.

What stations will be airing the special tribute? I imagine it'll be up to stations' discretion as far as whether to air this, and when. In otherwords that'll likely have to be information we're all watching out for to pass along to everyone else here. |

A better bet would be to email your local affiliate and ask request they air it

I'm hoping that Sunny Radio, Sunny 101.5, or 96.1 WSRS will be airing the special.

Email and ask. This is one of those times where the stations may not even realize its an offering. Expressing interest is sure to help get the word out

I can't email Sunny Radio and Sunny 101.5. I am going to email 96.1 WSRS. The only person that I could find was the programming director for 96.1 WSRS.
