I got the email from Premiere! All affiliates of American Top 40 (nearly 500 nationwide) will be airing the Casey Kasem tribute this weekend. Here’s a link to find a station in your area: www.at40.com/stations Let me know if you need any additional information. Best, Rachel Hate to break it to you, but this sounds like the Ryan Seacrest tribute on AT40 this weekend, which is not what this thread is about.

Emailing Premiere about it was a failure. Now I have to wait for emails from Sunny 101.5 and 93.3 WODC.

I'm not sure what the current AT40 tribute show is supposed to be, but I'm guessing that it includes a lot of Casey clips and other remembrance interspersed through the standard Ryan Seacrest-hosted countdown of the week's hits.
Kerri and Mike's show is probably more likely to be aired by those that play Casey's old shows, with stations allowed to air either (or, preferably, both) the tribute and the regular 70s or 80s countdown. With a three week window, July 4th weekend might be a popular scheduling option.

I just found out that 93.3 WODC will be airing the Casey Kasem tribute. As usual, WODC delivers for us. Another good possibility would be Sunny 105.9 in the Orlando area, which last night played the complete debut countdown just as it originally aired; except for Larry Morgan's intro, outro, and sweepers, there were no added extras or anything deleted or moved.

WBBG will play Kerri and Mike's show tomorrow night at 7 PM, and KOKZ on Friday afternoon from 1-3, beginning a weekend AT40 marathon (which will include the week's two regular shows at their normal times.)

K-Hits in Sacramento , CA already aired the 2-hour Kerri/Mike tribute show (at 6pm local PDT on Tuesday 6/17); but will repeat the show this coming Sat. (6/21) at 8am local (or 11am eastern). It’s part of their own week-long Casey remembrance. More info at the following link: 1015khits.com/casey-kasem/

Well congrats to Premiere! Had a discussion the other day about how I didn't think they still had it in them to whip something special up. Happy to be wrong. I saw two people on Facebook say they were airing it over this weekend. I wish I could remember which ones. I think it was WPNC and pretty sure KOKZ (are those AT40 stations?) Here's where I saw at least two mentions www.facebook.com/groups/AT40the70s/

I'm pleased to report that "A Tribute to the King of the Countdown: Casey Kasem," a brand-new 2-hour special hosted by Kerri and Mike Kasem, is being offered by Premiere to stations, with an air window of this weekend through July 7th. The show features Kerri and Mike reminiscing about their legendary Dad, and they cover many facets of Casey (including his cartoon voices, acting career, philanthropic work, etc...but especially his radio work), and the show features some special surprises along the way. I've heard some previews, and let's put it this way ... they are what finally moved me to tears over Casey's passing. Guess this is what made it all real for me. If it's airing in your area, don't miss it. The news I was hoping to hear (eventually). Thanks for letting us know, and I'll be listening for it. Question, and if you don't know the answer, that's fine – is this particular special going just to oldies/classic hits stations, or any Premiere station regardless of format? Thanks. Brian
