Odd Versions played on AT40... why?

Of the four weeks on AT40, I think they played the album cut for three. Only 4/7/84 featured the punched up single of Kid's American.

On AT40: The 80's 8/2/1980 episode in the top 3 recap, was there a longer album version or something like that of "Little Jeannie" by Elton John played?

The version of Like a Virgin played as the last extra on the 11/17/1984 show is from the Immaculate Collection greatest hits album.

Did AT40: The 70's 11/11/1978 feature a longer version of "Hot Child In the City" by Nick Gilder with an about 1 minute instrumental following what the single ends with a brief acapella "Hot Child in the City" singing? This might be the album version of this Nick Gilder song.
