Which leads me to ask, who else has guested on Backtrax over the years? Obviously Cubby was the main guest host until last year. Robby Bridges hosted once in November of last year. And Jojo Morales hosted once in February 2004. Other than that, has anyone else hosted for Kid in the past 25+ years? I have an early "Backtrax USA" show on CD hosted by a local PD Cruze from WKBQ St. Louis which was an affiliate of BUSA.

I'd be interested in any 80's music videos shows and I trade. I have a LOT of things including a lot of AT40. Private message me if you are interested.

Okay, anyone know of any top 40 stations doing a top 100 or so that stream? I'd like to be listening...
Z100/NYC has something on their website about the "Top 50 of 2010 (So Far)" so they might not do a top 100 this year. Anyone know about others?

I look forward to the very special top 100 year end shows every year. It's the one time each year where I am guaranteed to take time out and actively listen to all of the countdown shows that I can.
Just another disappointing trend about countdown shows lately. None of the shows is doing a top 100?? Boo!

You are right, 1987. Hmm.

At one point years ago, I bought a HUGE archive of R&R magazines from the 70's and 80's. Maybe some from the 90's. I think they were complete years. I have hundreds. I paid at least a thousand dollars. That's back in my money-to-burn years They were very cool to read through. I have them in storage now as the collection just takes up so many boxes. It would be nice to have a magazine like that archived on DVD-ROM's.

You were right. I didn't catch it and didn't even notice. It was 1988 last weekend.
Odd.
Don't worry. This weekend, back to 1986 :/

To the best of my knowledge, this is no longer being offered/distributed/produced.
While I guess in the past some stations have kept playing AT40 Flashback even when Premiere stopped distributing it, the ATH shows would have Casey say things like "5 years ago this week" which would no longer be accurate.

Casey briefly brought a show similar to the 80's TV show AT10 to E! in the 90's. I remember seeing it once or twice. Doesn't seem like it was on very long or scheduled very regularly...

Still sounds good. Still in 1986.
As we approach September, I am very curious what happens at the end of this year. Will we move into 1987? (Or another year besides 1986...) If so, this is a collectors dream. A chance to archive entire months/years of 80's Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.
If this show stays in 1986 next year, I'd be unhappy with that decision...

Is anyone recording this show? I'd be interested in hearing it...

Not quite as long lasting or influencial as the Rolling Stones, but...
The Mississippi rock band 3 Doors Down released a DVD with all of their videos on it and it includes a little documentary on the band. It also uses some Casey intro's from AT40.

Now this is kind of a cool twist. This upcoming weekends show is the 3rd week of July, and yes it's still back in 1986. The in studio guest is Debarge.
But Bruce Vidal is the guest host of the show.

1986 again. This week, the first week of May. We're all very lucky to be hearing it this week. They had a last minute problem with a segment that kept us from getting it into the computer until minutes before the show aired. We didn't get the correction until today. I was entering this weeks show AS the show was starting! You might be trying the Streamer method of listening. I prefer the Ustream method. Just click the little play icon on the Ustream box. You can also search for "WQMA" at www.ustream.tv
