I think Scott is referring to the program that airs on AM/FM stations.

Do the optional songs have any kind of connection to the show? Like other songs from that year, or any kind of connection? Or just totally random songs?
I still haven't actually heard AT40: The 70's. Guess I'll have to tune in online some week.
Would you happen to know how many stations are playing this? Know of any other stations that haven't been mentioned on the site?

Just a guess... but... are they making parts of the countdown the optional segments?
Remember all Premiere shows have those optional segments for stations that want more local time. Ridiculous that they would do that to #2, if so.

I might be a little bias but XM always seems sloppy in everything that I've read that they do. You would think by now they would be very familiar with their automation setup since there is hardly ever anyone live on the channels.

"Thriller" was probably edited on your radio stations due to length, not controversy. I remember stations in my area playing the song in its entirety, and later playing an edited version after the song had started to drop in popularity...

I have many of these from your 1995 list on original CD's with original cues. I have:
1-7-95 1-14-95 1-21-95 2-4-95 2-11-95 3-4-95 3-25-95 4-1-95
I might have others too. Private message me here if I can help.
