thekpod.com/?paged=5(That page number might change as more shows are added if someone sees this post some time from now...) But Show #51, "Casey Kasem Meets Casey Miller!" "Kerri Brings in her brother and uncle to talk about their legendary night at the Commerce Casino, plus Kerri’s dad, THE Casey Kasem listens to his South Park avatar for the first time!" There is a picture there too.

In looking to see if there was anyplace podcasting this Sixx Sense show (there doesn't appear to be), I found something else... the Kerri Kasem Podcast. From what I can tell, it's something she records with friends as a hobby. Doesn't appear to be connected to any traditional broadcasting station. I haven't heard any advertising on it, etc. thekpod.comSome of the podcast shows feature her brother, her uncle, and even Casey himself. Listening now...

This was reported a few places today. Heres a link to one of them: radiosyndicationtalk.com/radio-syndication-news/"Rick Dees Entertainment inks a new syndication deal with Debut Broadcastingfs Impact Radio Networks for broadcast and online content. The agreement with Dees will offer the f80s and f90s archive of gRick Dees Weekly Top 40 and a new Teen Top Twenty hosted by Deesf son, Kevin Dees. RDE will also provide content for station web sites, including streaming channels, podcasts and mobile apps." The "Teen Top 20" thing sounds like a future failure. Not sure about his 80s/90s shows. Definitely cheap to produce (they are already made). Sure hope he has a larger archive of 80's shows than they have at his website (there are only about 15 shows available to listen to there). When Dees 80s/90s shows were on satellite radio, I remember people in message boards complaining about the frequent shows from the late 80's often airing the same late 80's year two or more times in a row. I wonder how complete the Dees archive is and if those repeated years were the fault of XM or Dees. I know he doesn't have any top 40 shows before 1983. In reality, this isn't TOO much of a problem since 1981-1982 were kind of odd years for top 40 radio anyway and aren't as closely identified with 80's music. But for the 80's show to be a great show, they would definitely have to find more 1983-1985 shows somewhere then satellite radio had access to...

Ryan will be doing a "top songs of the decade" show for AT40 but it's a single show so no top 100.
There will be a top 100 of this year. The top songs of the decade show is after that.

Part 1 of the top 60 countdown is this weekend for those stations running the Christmas shows now.

WQMA will continue playing AT40: The 70's throughout the holiday season.
We are also already cleared, once again, to offer some amazing holiday programming this year including the annual 12 hour Mannheim Steamroller special that airs on hundreds of stations. This will be our second year airing that show.

It isn't like Casey was on the telethon to promote AT10/AT20. As far as I know, he is still involved with the MDA charities.
Actually, from what I read at one point online, I believe he (along with maybe his wife?) is involved in hosting the local version of the show for the Los Angeles television market.

"National Countdown Show with Al Gross" will be doing an Elvis tribute countdown at a special time this weekend on Sunday at 1pm on WQMA at www.q1520radio.com (the regular NCS from 1959 will air Saturday at its usual time). Prior to that, at noon, we'll be airing a special program titled "From Elvis In Memphis" highlighting the 40th anniversary of Elvis' 1969 Memphis, TN recording sessions featuring interviews from his house band and backup singer. The phone company is having an issue with our DSL at the moment but I'm promised it should be up by then.

We always play complete shows at WQMA including any extras. We have a GREAT full day of programs on Saturday including the show right before AT40 which is National Countdown Show (which is a top 40 from a week in the 50's and 60's - it's a great complement to AT40: The 70's). Our site is www.q1520radio.com

WQMA has added "American Top 40: The 70's" to replace AT10 immediately following the "National Countdown Show with Al Gross". The two shows should complement each other very well since Al's show focuses on a top 40 countdown from the the 50's and 60's.
"National Countdown Show" starts at 9am, and "AT40: The 70's" right after that at 1pm.

I just signed an AT40: The 70's contract today so I can state that it specifically allows Internet streaming so that shouldn't be a problem. I am only familiar with one music show forbidding Internet streaming. That show is Dr. Demento. They are really picky about it. They actually actively enforce it which is such a shame because with that show being on so few stations, they should be trying to get all the listeners they can get.
As for what WODS was doing, podcasting their weekend shows... I've never seen any syndicator specifically allowing that. Whoever made that decision was probably seeing if they could get by with it and hoping no one would notice.
