Mike's blog says the first 4 hour show will broadcast on April 29 starting at 8 AM. I just got an e-mail back from Mike - he's got the AT 40 chart posted - he's quick! He told me he "thanks for our appreciation of his efforts to promote such a classic show".

I asked CKWS via Facebook about them carrying the full 4 hrs and start time issues that may arise. Waiting on a response.

WMJI in Cleveland will not air the fourth hour. WBBG won't be either.

WMJI in Cleveland will not air the fourth hour. WBBG won't be either. That's odd given that WBBG aired the four-hour Disco special back in 2008. That's where I heard it from.

WODS wrote me back: "It all depends on what the network sends us." Which really doesn't help.

Just heard back from KKLZ. Alas, the news is not good:
***
Thank you so much for enjoying The Greatest Hits of All Time and American Top 40 The 70s on-line at 963KKLZ.com and on the air in Las Vegas on 96.3 KKLZ!
At this time, KKLZ does not have any plans to air any four hour episodes of American Top 40. A longer show would not fit well into our Sunday programming schedule. As you correctly stated in your email, the only time this affects the countdown show is during the 1979 shows, when AT40 went to a four hour format.
Thank you for your interest in this programming matter, and for listening to 96.3 KKLZ! Larry Martino PM Drive/Music Dir. KKLZ/Las Vegas

The KMCQ website says the Dick Clark show will air at 3 pm--since they are in Seattle I would assume that's PT...so should be 6 pm ET, right?

Yes, there is an error, sorry, according to upland1425
They should be on Sunday 12 noon EST, and 6 pm EST, respectively.
On the other hand, I think Smooth 70´s is gonna butch something more than Premiere Extras and Stations extras to fix the show in a 3 hour slot....

My PD didn't go for both shows airing the same day. At the same time he's into Dick Clark AND the 4-hour shows. So... The 4-hour show goes on as promised this week. Dick Clark show next week over whatever they're offering next Sunday. Premiere's good with it as well. This way I deliver what was promised on my page AND get time to hype next week's Dick Clark for our audience. Barry Manilow was just in town and did a HUGE salute to Dick Clark, complete with the AB logo on stage and his rendition of Bandstand Boogie which he sang for the show in he 80s. Mike
