And it's 9/25/71! That leaves only 1977 as a year yet to be played. No '77 yet. The next show is (drumroll): 5/11/74! Starting right now, 5:37PM MST. ...and still not giving '77 its due, they're wrapping up today's selections with the 5/6/78. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get to enjoy 'YLUML' in all of its glory. Day 3 begins with 3/5/77! Followed now by 1/4/75. Which leaves July and December as the only months not yet offered. Hopefully the first show will be on deck for later today. 4/8/72 beginning now, 2:40PM MST. Bumping up KDRI's AT40 marathon show list. Two more shows to go.

Was it just me or did the Wink show sound kinda tinny? It was just the show itself. The ending with big voice guy giving the credits sounded normal as did the Mark Elliott show that followed.

That Mark Elliott show was the 1982 one offered last year as a special, making today's complete WPNC schedule: Gary Owens (9/12/81) Bob Eubanks (4/16/83) Wink Martindale (10/11/75) Mark Elliott (7/17/82) Casey Kasem (7/11/70)

I thought I picked up on a distinct difference in something (not sure the technical sound term) when Larry Morgan came in during the credits of Wink's show, but since that was pretty much the sole 'modern, Premiere-era' section of the whole show, I didn't worry much about it.

Have to admit I'm a bit disappointed to hear a third '78 show (previous ones were 5/6 and 6/24), as we've only heard one each so far from '70, '71, '73, '76, and '77. One more to go after this one.

Don't forget no 79 or 4 hrs 78, just butchered 78s. Going forward I wonder if this means they will bypass the 4hr programs?

No 'AT32s' to fit the 9AM-Noon Sunday time slot. So they'll run 9/9/78 this coming Sunday and then no more '78 shows until January (or later, depending on which shows Premiere offers).

All right! 'The Drive' is treating us to "YLUML"! One week later and it would've been off the 40.

So glad that they occasionally offer bonus shows from the 2000s! It is so great to hear those songs again (since many of them haven't seen the light of day for over 20 years).
