I hope Sirius/XM will lift their ban on The Turtles in 2022.

Today's show was simply great! However, the songs Dave played had to peak in December. Songs like Are You Lonesome Tonight that started their reign at #1 and continued in December were disallowed--same with Big Girls Don't Cry. But the songs of course went into January, but again peaked only in December.
Surprised to hear a show on Christmas Day, but Dave stated it would be December 1961. Survey date should be 12-25-61, a Monday. This was shortly before the survey dates changed in January 1962 to Saturdays.

According to the Billboard Hot 100, it was literally the ONLY song to hold the #1 position in the month of December, 1960.

Mr. J, show ended exactly at 4:30 EST (2.5 hours). There were no extras, just the 50 songs that again, had to peak in December. Agreed about leftover songs that did carry over into December. Another example was Love Child from 1968, and as I mentioned Big Girls Don't Cry from 1962.

Great survey-Kinda figured that "I'm A Believer" would emerge as the overall winner.

Iām kinda hoping against hope that they will play the countdown from 12/30/1967 since that was the week I was born. šš As mentioned due to apparently the Turtles music being banned from 60's Gold at this time, there is a countdown that Joe Cantello did on Cashbox Countdown Thread, page 18. The chart is from 12-23-67, so off by one week.

Joe, are there Top 100's for 1966? I recently listened to the 12-24-66 episode on Page 28, but found it to be a Top 40. This is my favorite year for music, and sure would love a Top 100, but did I miss it? Thanks!
