AT40 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

AT40's year-end show for 2000 used an in-house chart instead of R&R (which would make sense since AT40 had begun using a modified Mediabase chart a few months earlier for their weekly shows). I recall there was a minor uproar when Toni Braxton's "He Wasn't Man Enough" was left out of the Top 100 of the year on the chart AT40 used. The good news is that there was no difference in the #1 song of the year.

On the geeky technical side.I dont know why but for the longest time I thought the AT40 and the ACC were delivered on reel to reel tape instead of LP's.I found out by reading Billboard Mag in the early 1980's that the show was delivered on LP's.



I agree with briguy52748 to have a ACC section somewhere..

Almost certain it was on reel-to-reel tape in the early days, 1970 to 197?. Someone here might know when the switch to LP occurred in the 70s.
