Foolish Beat on this week's 1988 show had a weird edit toward the end. Same awkward-sounding edit in the show we heard this week (7/9/88).

On the Disco countdown, I thought it was odd that Disco Inferno featured a loop of the final verse and playout rather than just use the album version of the song.

On the 7-26-86 show, the last verse of 'No one is to blame' was cut.

Magic HAD to have been edited on the 8-2-80 show. The original broadcast would've played it, in full.

I meant at the end of the broadcast, not the top 3 recap.

'Please come to Boston' had that strange edit of the verse of Boston edited to the chorus about Denver.

I am surprised you didn't catch this one Dave, just noticed that the 3rd verse or one minute for "Shine a Little Love" by Electric Light Orchestra from 7/28/79 was edited out by Premiere as my original copy has it, two times in a row now with it except last time its 2nd verse got an ax on 6/2/79 earlier in 2014! A little late on this one, but from last weekend's 70s show for 7/21/79, the 4th verse was edited out by Premiere, as again my original copy has it, they are constantly butchering Electric Light Orchestra's "Shine a Little Love"!

Wasn't able to catch a stream of the 7-21-79 show. I'm sorry.

On the 8-29-81 show, 'Who's crying now?' had its 2nd verse edited. Must've been Premiere's fault.

Awkward excise of the instrumental solo on 'I'm in you', on the 9-3-77.

Enjoyed this original show from an editing standpoint. The summer and most of fall 1977 was a good time from an editing standpoint. Few songs had to be edited because of all the short songs like "Telephone Man", "Just a Song Before I Go" and others that were on AT40.

Eye of the tiger HAD to be a Premiere edit, we heard the 1st verse repeated twice, on the Premiere broadcast from 9-18-82.

Paul Davis' 'Superstar' had to be Premiere's cuttin'. Song only lasted 3 minutes in the original 45 length. Missin' was the verse for Joni Mitchell.

Yeah, Superstar got bit badly, and so did ONJ's "Don't Stop Believin' "!
