The edit of Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield on the 5/4/74 show was pathetic

The edit of the Upside down extra was too short, the 2nd verse was fully removed.

Premiere edited about one minute off of "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon at #36 from this weekend's B-show, May 9th, 1987!

"867-5309/Jenny" was really awkwardly edited in the 5/8/82 show, at least as I heard it. It went right from the second verse to the bridge.

Unusually high amount of edits on the 5-24-80 show.

The medley of 'Cupid/I've loved you for a long time', had to be a Premiere edit. The song wouldn't be edited in its 1st week in the 40.

FYI, in the original show, only one song in this show was edited...."Dreams". It is most unusual to have a show from 1977 with only one song edited....although not as much in the middle of the year. Remakes became more prevalent then and since those are normally short songs even when covered, less editing was necessary.

'Hotel California''s 2nd verse was edited out, yet AGAIN, on the 5-28-77 show. Has 'Hotel' EVER been heard in its entirety on AT40? Somebody let us know. Thanx!

The editing of "Whodunit" on the 5/28/77 countdown was totally unnecessary.

The second chorsus and the third verse was cut from "Margritaville". "Lonly Boy" was missing the second verse. 5/28/1977

The album version's bridge of 'Lonely boy' was there, though.
