On Pt. 2 of the '80 year-end show, 'Magic's' 2nd verse was edited off. That's an original edit. In the original show they cut "Another One Bites The Dust", "Woman In Love" and "Magic". There may have been a few more edits, but these are the ones I recall off the top of my head. |

I was listening to an episode in which the song "lying Eyes" premered. In that countdown they cut out the second verse and half of the third verse.

On today's Casey Kasem's AT40 countdown show from January 15th, 1977, "Livin' Thing" by Electric Light Orchestra had its 2nd verse edited out and clocked in at 2:19! Original or Premiere?   |

On this weekend's Casey Kasem's AT40 countdown show from January 25th, 1975, "Can't Get It Out of My Head" by The Electric Light Orchestra had its 2nd verse edited out and clocked in at 3:08! Original or Premiere? |

Noticeable edit on 'Look in my eyes, pretty woman'. The chorus modulated a half-step up. Wasn't that way in the full single.
