Both of the second songs mentioned in the two above posts also both sound like previous songs by other artists (Oops I Did it Again>Woman In Love and American Storm>Born To Run).

I worked with a guy who thought Janet Jackson's "Escapade" sounded just like "What Have You Done for Me Lately". Actually "I Miss You Much" should be up there too (sounds more like "Escapade"). |

Asia's 1983 song Don't Cry sounds just like a song on their first album called Here Comes the Feeling (not a Top 40 hit but a minor hit on the Rock charts).
Also, Lionel Richie's Truly to me sounds very similar to Still; even though I'm familiar with both songs, I still get the two confused at times.
