Next week's Casey lite...1988 That could possibly be the same year we'll hear on AT40: The 80's next week. ETA: This week's Casey Original is from 2/5/1983.

Next week's Casey lite...1988 Maybe they changed their minds. Today it was posted on the XM fan board that this weekend's show will be from February 1987, followed by 1983 (next week so it won't duplicate Premiere's AT40), 1988, and 1980.

Casey lite just messed up and played the live version of Alright, not the hit. Thank you for the info, I missed over 1/2 of the show of which I'm recording as we speak. It really doesn't make any difference I cannot stand that record let alone the guy that sings on it, Christopher Cross.

Casey lite just messed up and played a live version of Alright, not the hit. And Nina prefaced it by saying it came from his album "Another Page". Not this version. This appears to have come from the ARC chart for 2/12/83. www.rockonthenet.com/archive/1983/02-12.htm

Yes, indeed it did. That's two weeks in a row using the ARC chart.

This week it's back to the Cashbox charts, for 2/20/88 in this case. Interestingly, this is played as Premiere does AT40 from 1980; next week each network will play the opposite year of those two.

We haven't had 85 or 81 yet in 2011 so those are my guesses for the next two Casey lites. Yeah; next week is 1981. This is the first time in four months they've done anything from the late 1980/early 1981 timeframe; OTOH, we get most of the same songs from Casey and Premiere this week.

I listen every week. For some ungodly reason the 80s on 8 channel is silent on the internet player. All of the other channels are working though. I was really looking forward to hearing this week in 1986. Why is this happening.......... Uggggg.
