And more amazing, with this coming Friday, all 10 different years--86,83,88,85,81,87,82,89,80,84. Nine more weeks to go for 2024, and maybe 86 will be featured on 11-8-24.

Next week it'll be all about 1988!
This can go either way, 11/5 or 11/12. I'm hoping 1983 is next and I'm praying we won't get a certain couple of oft-repeated charts later in the month.

I was hoping for 1986--so much great music in the Fall of 1986.

They really need to do 1986 within the next couple of weeks. Not only is the entire month of November 1986 greatly underplayed, but we also need to avoid the hundredth airing of 12/6.

One thing I noticed about 1988 is that it's mostly been featured less than 10 weeks after the last time it was played. The first one was in April and since then it's like they only waited 7-8 weeks compared to the other years.
I'm also concerned about them featuring 11/26/83 and 11/28/81 for the millionth time as well, so I'm hoping '83 will at least be next while '81 could wait until December.

I do recall 11-26-83 often as their "Thanksgiving Edition".

Of course they decide to go with the "we must wait a maximum of 3 years since featuring a date from now on" option. The only good thing about this is it could mean we won't have to worry about those repeated 1981 and 1983 charts I mentioned earlier.

Next week it'll be all about 1981! That means no 11/28 repeat!

1983 would ideally be played the first full weekend of December. I don't know when the last time they did 12/3/83 is, but at least that won't be duplicated by Premiere (AT40 was guest hosted that week), and we wouldn't get 12/6/86 yet again.

Hopefully they give y'all 1986 on one of the following two weekends (chart date 11/22 or 11/29). And save 1983 for early December.

Three times this year 1983 followed 1986--so I am predicting 1986 for 11-22-24 and 1983 for 11-29-24. Of course they could reverse and do 1983 then 1986.

I'm hoping they will go the reverse direction because if 1983 were to be last, we will get 11/26 for the thousandth time. Then again, with the way things have gone this year, that might not even be the case.

Next week it'll be all about 1985! Can't wait for 11/26/83 and 12/6/86 back to back!

Interesting, useless trivia about this weeks chart. It was the first time two members from an active band were back to back on the chart in as a solo artist. In this case Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac were back to back with their solo hits. This would happen again in February of 1984, and yet again it was members of Fleetwood Mac, this time Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie were back to back.

Can't wait for 11/26/83 and 12/6/86 back to back! I can think of one way this can be avoided, not that I have much confidence it will happen. They need to go with 1987 for Thanksgiving weekend. And just in case you thought this show made bad chart choices, this week's 90s countdown featured a chart two weeks earlier than the current date. This was a five-time repeat, whereas the current week's chart would have been new.
