Probably 10/21/89. Which is better than 10/28, a longtime member of the Overplayed Club.

Meanwhile 1984 still hasn't been featured since July! I think it's only been done three times this year compared to the other nine.

I'm hoping that when they get to Milli Vanilli the VJs will talk about the resurgence of their music instead of the same stories about how they didn't sing on their records.

And is this going to be the same as years ago when 1984 was omitted for 6 months?

I'm hoping that when they get to Milli Vanilli the VJs will talk about the resurgence of their music instead of the same stories about how they didn't sing on their records. They could have still been successful nowadays if they never lied about it and were just the dancers to the group. Look at Avicii, ,DJ Khalid, Marshmellow and Calvin Harris (most of his songs). They didn’t sing either. Milli Vanilli would have been just as successful had they went about publicizing their music this way.

Not sure when or if 10/14/89 was last played, but at least maybe it hasn't been played twice like the two later October 1989 shows. But there's no consistency in date selection across SXM. 90s on 9 and Pop 2K featured charts from 10/22/94 and 10/21/06 this week, both years that had calendars close or identical to 1989's.

Next week it'll (FINALLY) be all about 1984! Amazingly, they chose 1984 at just the right time. 11/3 will be a new chart, while 10/27, 11/10 and 11/17 were all done over the previous three years.
