Meredith Brooks caused quite a stir when the offensive word used by Elton John appeared in the title of her lone top 40 smash from 1997. Actually she had 2 more hits off that album. "What would happen" peaked at #12. That song I remember but I can't say I've ever heard her 3rd hit, "Stop". There was a radio edit of "i want your sex" as I recall where they took the word "love" an inserted it over the word 'sex' every time it was sung. I could swear I heard a version of that on some station. Was there ever a radio edit for "pregnant dog"? Not sure how you'd create one other than muting the voice track every time its sung.
