Not sure who keeps bringing up the replaying of Shadoe shows on Premiere, but it needs to stop. Seriously. I have all the Shadoe shows, and if I want to listen to one, I will. I don't need to listen to them on the radio.

I have heard the "Back In The Day" replay on the 90's and they use the Billboard charts. Which is OK for 90 and most of 91, but when you get into songs that were never on Casey or even Shadoe for that matter, I think that presents a problem.

Cool 105.7 in Waterloo/Cedar Falls is playing the 1986 show. I think they just recently started listing the years that will be played each week(They play the 70's on Saturday mornings and the 80's on Sunday mornings).

Predictions for next week's show...looks like dukedeb got things started, so let's ramp up the speculation. I have an idea for what I think the rest of November might look like, so I'm sure what will actually be played will be entirely different but here goes for next week: First guess: 11/10/84 Second guess: 11/16/85 11/10/84 wouldn't be played because it was guest hosted by Charlie Van Dyke.

When Glee has been on TV for 2 years and has already broken Elvis's record for chart entries, but with all one week entries because of the ITunes way VS buying a 45. It is meaningless to me. The 90's stuff is not AS meaningless to me, but I don't think songs need to be on the charts for 40+ weeks. I do not believe it to be accurate. They overplay things but not THAT much! The example above is one of the reasons why I don't put any validity into the Hot 100. Most of those songs from Glee DID only stay on the chart for a week; probably because all the Gleeks bought them on iTunes the first chance they could. I think it's a joke that the show Glee has more Hot 100 entries than Elvis. That's just me though.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned "Feelings" by Morris Alpert! I'm old enough to remember the Gong Show episode where every "contestant" tried their best to sing it. ;D

Maybe one of these days there will be a new Top 40 show that uses the ACTUAL Mediabase 24/7 chart that Casey used instead of a chart that Seacrest uses. A man can dream can't he?

I know that in the 3 weeks that "Right Here Waiting" was #1, Shadoe never had a drumroll for the song. Were there any other songs that hit #1 that didn't have a drumroll played for it in their chart run? Thanks.

Just got done listening online and it was a very good sendoff. We all knew this day had to come sooner or later, but it sure doesn't make it any easier. I didn't get to hear the LDD, but hopefully I will get the CD's so I can listen to it. Casey has earned his retirement. He will most certainly be missed.

The first time that I can recall listening to AT40 was back in the Fall of 1978 when "Hot Child In The City" was heading towards #1. I also remember listening to the Top 50 of 1979 as well.

Well, we knew this day had to come sooner or later. It just sucks that Casey couldn't go out on his own terms.
