Meanwhile, 9/9/2006 is this week's CT40 show on WSM-AM, and they started that one early (about 10 minutes early or thereabouts). No cue sheet on this one, but the Country Aircheck issue that issued on August 28 matches the chart week (minus extras) that week.

Got stuck working tonight but catching the show now. Bowman says near the end of the second segment: "Hey, I see good old Hank Aaron still smacking them homers. Before he retires, Hank wants to hit as many home runs as Billy Martin has kicked umpires. I could've been a great ballplayer except for one thing: I never could lift a bat."

Well, that narrows it down even more. I have the 7/15 and 9/30 shows, and noticed the difference in the 9/30 show. The 7/15 show still has the 1986 jingle package. ETA: This is the first 1989 show since I started catching the shows this past March. 1983 hasn't had any spins yet either. (That's the only classic ACC year I don't have any regular countdowns from, though I have the year-end top 100 which spanned two shows and 7 hours).

KFYZ has been cutting Bob's billboard sponsor when it is featured lately, though it isn't an issue pre-1984. WSM-AM when it comes to the CT40 shows like this one from 10/7/2006 (hopefully the online stream doesn't stop this time around), they keep the billboard sponsor in. www.charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/CT40%202006-1007.pdfETA: Looks like I've switched to TuneIn for the streaming and that seemed to have worked.

And that also continued to CT40 where Bob had staying power until his death in 2019. WSM-AM is going back to 10/14/2006 this week. I think the CT40 fan favorite picks came in later in the CT40 run but before the listener requests went down from two to one. www.charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/CT40%202006-1014.pdf

Will be working again tonight and early tomorrow morning, so I'll miss tonight's ACC presentation. The late 80s has been offered of late (1988, 1989, 1987 the last three weeks). We'll see what year gets featured tonight, 6 PM CT.
