Also: Did WPNC actually have a schedule posted anywhere? I was never able to find one by searching, leading me to wonder if people had in fact found one and just never bothered posting it here.  |

No a reference to 4/28/2001 is correct. My chart says the week of 4/28/2001.... BTW if someone had a posting here would you have think someone would have posted the details.

April 28, 2001 was a Saturday. As was May 5, 2001. Chart weeks end on Saturdays, not begin. So it either has to be 'the week ENDING 4/28/2001', or 'the week OF April 29, 2001, which would be the week ENDING May 5, 2001. |

mga707 - looks like you're getting your wish! I kind of suspected that KDRI might be joining the ranks of Premiere affiliates, based on some 'clues' that I'd been hearing on the station. Based on their music library's 'sweet spot', roughly 1965-85, I'm certain they'll be carrying the '70s show. Whether the '80s show will also be offered I don't know. Hopefully they'll carry both, maybe one on Saturday and the other on Sunday. AT40 will be the first syndicated show that they've carried in their just over 3 years on-air. |

If it's mostly 1980s shows then I'd think Charlie Van Dyke would be in there somewhere; if they go to the later 90s/2000s run then Ed McMann? 18 hours, so obviously 6 3-hr shows would fit, but since it's almost certainly not going to be all 3-hr shows from '78 or earlier, the only other mathematical possibility is 3 4-hr and 2 3-hr shows. That would be my guess--5 shows in all. |
