Since there are threads for just about all the other decades, I figured I'd start the thread for the 2000s. Songs from the 2000s and 2010s can be included, as long as it's a song that's already peaked in popularity (no current chart hits).
From this week in 2005, a song that debuts this week at #89 and would peak one notch higher - "Little Sister" by Queens of the Stone Age.

From this week (this date, actually) in 2003, here's a song that debuted on the Bubbling Under chart this week but never got higher than #106 (it did, however, peak at #32 on Radio and Records, which shows how far off the two charts were at this time). Here's Bon Jovi with "Misunderstood".

For this week, I'm featuring the song that led me to create this thread spotlighting 2000s hits. This song spent a single week on the Hot 100 this week in 2012, peaking at #100. It's the electronic dance music song "Raise Your Weapon" by deadmau5, featuring vocals by Greta Svabo Bech. From this week in 2001, it's a song that did not hit the Hot 100, but did hit the Modern Rock Tracks chart, where it peaked at #26. Here's "One Armed Scissor" by At the Drive-In.

It was only about 12 hours ago that I first found out that song peaked at 39. Had to look up Lily Allen's chart data on the R&R chart data site because Casey played "The Fear" as an extra on the AT20 show for 3/14/09. Turns out Lily has 2 charted R&R songs and they both peaked at 39. Was trying to figure out why that song was played as an extra since it was a then-current song. Deduced that because of the low peak on the pop chart, it did not make the AT20 survey at all.

"The Fear" peaked at #16 on Billboard's Hot AC chart. Not sure where it peaked on Mediabase's, which AT20 used, but I wouldn't be surprised if it charted on AT20 shortly afterwards.

From this week in 2000, it's a song that peaked at #113 on the Bubbling Under chart and was in the Top 5 of the Modern Rock Tracks chart, where it peaked at #4. Here's "Letting the Cables Sleep" by Bush.

From this week in 2002, it's a song that had two separate chart runs in Billboard. During the first run in 2001, it peaked at #47 on the Hot 100. During the second run in 2002, it peaked at #59, but it also peaked at #21 on Radio and Records. Here's "Video" by India.Arie.

Offering up a tune which debuted at #85 on the 4/19/2008 chart and promptly fell out of the Hot 100 the next week. While it's not exactly the way R.E.M. would like to remember their last time on the singles chart, the band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide.
