For the recent 9/11/2001 anniversay, I present a lost 2000's classic of the We Are Family Foundation's cover of Sister Sledge's 1979 song "We Are Family" which helped the 9/11/2001 tragic events: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbGcGvxw53s

Away from the World, released in September 2012, was the eighth album by Dave Matthews Band, and from that album came the song "Mercy" which hit #95 on the Hot 100 in August.
Also from Away from the World is the song "Broken Things", which was the lead track from the album.

Here's a song I heard on a YouTube video several months ago that I ended up really liking, by a synth band from Boston called Freezepop. From their album Future Future Future Perfect released in September 2007, here's "Brainpower".

The last time Danish singer Medina was posted in this thread was in August 2019 with 2011's "Addiction". Now here she is with a single from September 2009 - "You and I". Also included is the Deadmau5 remix, as well as the original Danish version of the song from 2008 - "Kun for mig".

For Halloween month here's a lost 2000's/2010's/2020's classic chosen by me: From the Halloween leaning makeup style group Kiss is a track from the 2009 Sonic Boom CD called "Modern Day Delilah" (Not the same song as the 1984 Van Stephenson top 40 song, and has no relation to iHeartRadio's AC/Hot AC satillite driving DJ Delilah): www.youtube.com/watch?v=w85y9J-00gU

I'm pretty sure this song was played on SiriusXM's Electric Area channel back in the day, but it was possibly The Runners' Miami Trap Remix. From October 2014, here's "We Don't" by rapper Ace Hood featuring Rich Homie Quan. NSFW lyrics!
Also from October 2014 is the lyrically more palatable "This" by Sander van Doorn and Oliver Heldens. It's more palatable lyrically because "this" is the only word in the song.

From the 2000 film Dancer in the Dark which she starred in, Björk's "I've Seen It All" (with Radiohead's Thom Yorke) was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song but lost to Bob Dylan's "Things Have Changed" (posted here in 2016). While Yorke sang on the soundtrack album version, the film version featured Björk and co-star Peter Stormare.

It was a week away from debuting on the Hot 100 at #79 for November 25, 2000; during its nine week chart run, "How Many Licks?" by Lil' Kim featuring Sisqó only managed to peak four notches higher at #75. Although profanities are censored in the video, the content is still generally NSFW.
