Why are we still talking about how "Die Young" is doing on AT40? Do you people hate the song so much that you want it gone as quickly as possible?

Apparently, after checking the AT40 website, "Die Young" isn't dead yet. It was at #27 the week ending March 23. The way it's been inching down the chart as of lately, I can safely bet that it will still be on the top 40 for at least the first weekend of April.
It is, however, surprising that Rihanna's "Diamonds" is very close to dropping off the top 40. I'd say Rihanna's song will be lucky enough to spend one more week on AT40 before it's gone.
And btw, I don't hate the song. I do like it, as it's a bit upbeat. It's possible that it didn't do well in the state where the horrific school shooting took place last December - on my 40th birthday of all days.

It's been awhile since I bothered to update this but "Die Young" is still on AT40 this weekend.
Not only that, it actually moved up from #31 to #30.

"Die Young" is at #39 this week on AT40. It's been on AT40 for 32 weeks.
Looks like this song will finally be gone in a week or two.

I just tuned into FLZ and Die Young was playing on AT40. So for now, it's still on.

"Die Young" is gone from AT40. It falls out of the countdown after 32 weeks.

"Die Young" is gone from AT40. It falls out of the countdown after 32 weeks. "Die Young" is now dead. And didn't die young. But wait a minute... It may rebound back into the top 40 even for just a short time. Anything is possible. If it doesn't re-enter the top 40 by the end of July, then we can safely declare it dead.

This song didn't make AT40's year-end Top 40 of 2012 and judging from the 2013 year-end building chart on Mediabase, it's unlikely to make it in 2013. How often does that happen with a #1 song not making it the Top 40/100 of the year? I think it happened on Casey's Top 40 when "Blame It On The Rain" didn't make the year-end Top 40 of 1989 or the Top 100 of 1990.

I know it didn't in 92 (on CT40).
