I have a Fiio X3 mp3 player -- really nice little player. Used to have a Zune until a few years ago, so I'm in the apparently small demographic that still uses a separate device as my music player (and I've gotten made fun of for it a few times). Not an Apple guy though... I still have a Sony Walkman MP3 player from 2007. It still works and does what I need it to do - play music. Simple drag and drop to add mp3s. Although it's tucked away in a drawer somewhere, I also have the original Walkman FM stereo radio from 1981. Ya'll will laugh at this one. I still have the AM/FM Sony headphones with the big antenna that has a yellow tip at the end. I use it every Saturday to listen to Casey on Mix1077 out of Dayton. Been using them for decades. I listen the the 80s shows while doing a 13 mile run every Saturday. The antenna helps with reception.

They finally broke!

For 5/1/82, I'll go with:
"Without You (Not Another Lonely Night)" "Crimson & Clover" "Wasted Days And Wasted Nights" "Rosanna"

Listening to the 4/28/84 show on WWIS and Casey's teaser for the first LDD was edited out, and then the entire LDD was cut also. Why??

They also cut Casey's end-of-first-hour close out and his opening at the top of the 2nd hour. ??

If you're referring to what Casey said after the inserted LDD, that was the end-of-hour-2 close out. Premiere removed the end-of-first-hour close out and also the Top of the 2nd hour intro.

"Wasted Days And Wasted Nights" is from 1975. Seems very unlikely it would be featured on a 1982 show. "Fame" is from 1975. It was featured on a 1982 show last year. Optional extras for April 10, 1982: "Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny)" Elton John "Man On Your Mind" Little River Band "Fame" David Bowie "When It's Over" Loverboy "Fame" replaces "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell, which has been frequently used as an optional extra.

Re: 4/28/1984 - the 2015 broadcast had those things cut out, too. Before I got the original show, I had the Premiere recording, and it sounded very, very strange. Here's a link to this thread from the 2015 airing. That way we can see what happened then.

Here's a link to this thread from the 2015 airing. That way we can see what happened then. Thank you for the link to the background info about the previous airing. I guess I'm foolish to expect shows to be presented as they aired originally, and I still wish the re-broadcasts would follow the order portrayed in the cue sheets.
