Tom Clay song still gets to me 40 years later! Powerful! Song's message still relevant in these times. Society has as a whole has grown more angry, hostile , rude & selfish! Public & political leaders need to listen to message song delivers!!!

Predictions for extras:
* Imagine Homer Simpson singing ... "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot. * "The Best Disco in Town" -- The Ritchie Family. * "I Only Wanna Be With You" -- Bay City Rollers (yeah, the stars of that stupid Saturday morning live action show. Music was good, though.)

AT40 had alot of guest hosts week after Labor Day weekend so see why dates are not aligning up! Avoids repeats! Well, 9/11/76 neither had a guest host nor has it yet aired, so why Premiere chose 9/4...well, that's a good question!

The only explanation can be that this is the week that the Bee Gees hit #1. Sometimes when a major act hits the top, Premiere goes out of the way to play that show. Obviously on the date of 9/4 in 1971 and 76, major acts hit #1. In fact, in both cases, major acts hit #1 knocking out other major acts who had each been on top for 4 weeks.

Hey Ponderousman, at least your Phillies and Eagles are doing well. Shuckatoom, to tell you the truth, I don't like the Eagles & the Phillies. The Eagles have a dog killer at quarterback & the manager of the Phillies is a moron. I prefer the 76ers & the Flyers.

shuckatoom, did the Cowboys move to Los Angeles? You can't root for the Cowboys if you live in LA. Even if you don't have an NFL team!! Unless you used to live in Dallas that is! BTW, USC doesn't count as a pro football team in LA, even though that one running back told TMZ that they get paid.

WBBG is playing So Far Away, which will pop up again in hour 1 of Casey. They just played Maggie May within the last 3-4 songs. It's not so hard people! I used to schedule out around the countdowns. Yoy !

Its all random through a computer system, Why would anyone play a record or a CD anymore? If I owned XM, We'd have the music on a computer, with LIVE DJ's controlling it!
