Note to any NASA Mission Control staffers who listen to KPRC. How about waking up the Atlantis crew with either #2 or #7 from this week's show!

Cool, those of us who heard SXM this week will hear the next show. Not really a piggyback situation since it was the disco special. This show was played by SXM last year. Question for you veterans.....It has been 6 months since SXM and Premiere played the same show. Is that the longest such gap?

How about these for predicted extras (all within Hour 1 (Nos. 33-40) of the show):
* "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me" by (ba-da-da-da-da-da) the Bellamy Brothers. (This former No. 1 country hit peaked out this particular week at No. 39, but it's a guilty pleasure to many ... .) * "Is She Really Going Out With Him" by Joe Jackson. * "Sad Eyes" by Robert John. (The snail's-pace riser that soon became a No. 1 hit.)

Oh so this week we get American Top 33! I know alot of people on here are in total love with the optional extras but on weeks where they have an original 4 hour show I would prefer that they do a recap of the songs (not including previous weeks top 3). For example play a portion of songs 40-38 in first segment, 37-36 in second, 35-34 in third a final segment. Like a montage.

It doesn't bother me too much for these '79 shows, especially where there is a top 3 recap--you really only end up missing the first 7 or 8 songs. But I agree--would rather they play the extras from the first hour as original segments instead of having the typical Larry Morgan introduced extras.
Did anyone get the full version of this show off SXM a couple years ago? A good way to access the 1st hour if so...

If I knew then what I know now, I would have recorded this show last year on SXM and then excerpted all of Casey's comments from the first hour and posted them here so at least you could read what he said. It may be the only AT40 ever to start with 4 songs by women....LW #3 Hot Stuff; Donna Summer...LW #2 Bad Girls; Donna....LW #1 Ring My Bell; Anita Ward; #40 Married Men; Bette Midler. No it's not...2 weeks later, the same 3 songs were in last week's top 3 and then Rickie Lee Jones, Bonnie Pointer and Pink Lady(the first ever female duo in AT40 history) at 40-38 gave women the first 6 songs. Back to the 7/14/79 show, there is a mistake that Pete Battistini missed. Casey states that Raydio is up 2 notches to #22. They are actually at #19. Has Premiere ever played as an extra a song that fell out of the 40 that returned to the 40 the next week? They have a chance to do that this week as Blondie's One Way or Another falls from 34 -41 only to redebut the following week.
