The original edits were brutal at times; I heard every 1978 show a couple of years ago. I can only imagine what Premiere has done with the latest re-broadcasts. Surprisingly, the oft-chopped "Love Is Like Oxygen" clocked in at a respectable 3 1/2 minutes or so on today's show. Impressive. 😅 They left it intact from the original show. The song segment in my copy is 3:41 (which includes the intro jingle).

KLFM plays their own extras because they sometimes don't have enough commercials. They have played two of their own extras so far. Lost Without Your Love by Bread in hour 1 and The Name Of The Game by ABBA. It looks like they might have another one coming up in hour 2. They use the Larry Morgan intro for the KFLM extras, that's what is maybe confusing to you.

Don't mind KLFM's 'extra extras' at all, even if they are of songs already in the countdown, as they sometimes are. It sure beats having to hear 'Flo'...

Hopefully WTOJ/Ken gifts us a Supersized 1978 this weekend because this panel has the potential to be a chopped up mess. Sorry if i missed a response, did we find out if TOJ will have a 'supersized' Ken edit? Hope so!!

In addition to Sweet's "Love Is Like Oxygen" not getting hacked to pieces this week, Eddie Money's "Baby Hold On" seemed pretty much intact. Only if we could hear the Fleetwood Mac version of "Imaginary Lovers" LOL😁

I guess the alternative to this huge void as far as 70's listeners is likely KLFM on Friday Evenings in the USA. They normally go with early 70's shows to fit the 3 hour time slot. Occasionally you might get an AT33. As far as a repeat broadcast, you would have to go to WPAC's on demand link if you were out of town that weekend.

R.I.P. AT40 the 70's on WMGN Magic 98 Madison 20??-May 2020. WMGN started airing the show sometime in 2007. I discovered them in Oct of that year. I still had dial-up internet at the time (!) and theirs was one of the few streams that didn't buffer endlessly
