Can't help with LP version played but Casey called them The Elvin Bishop Group in the shows from May 22, 1976 and June 19, 1976. He also referred to them as the Elvin Bishop Group in the show from June 23, 1984 in his story about Starship recruiting Mickey Thomas. Interestingly in each case Casey said "AL-vin Bishop."

These were the optional extras for 4/14/1973 from the 2016 airing:
"Blue Suede Shoes" - Johnny Rivers "My Love" - Paul McCartney & Wings "Will It Go Round In Circles" - Billy Preston
Those that want to catch 1979, it's new to the series. Great listen throughout, and a very enjoyable tune at #1, IMO; one of my faves for the year.

4/14/79 was definitely the best choice, as it's not only unplayed but leaves enough time for them to play the next unplayed 1979 show (6/23/79). Only gripe is that this extends the 1973 A drought into May, as the next two April shows from that year were both aired in the last two years. So instead they coupled a 1979 A with a 1973 B for the second time in two months.
After 1973, 1971 and 78 have the next longest droughts. Maybe we'll get them in the next couple of weeks, with the caveat that 4/22/78 was played two years ago and so isn't likely.

Great listen throughout, and a very enjoyable tune at #1, IMO; one of my faves for the year. 4/14/1973 was the show aired on AT40: The 70's on the weekend WLS 94.7 FM Chicago put the show back on the station in April 2016 after dropping it in November 2013 for a 2 and a 1/2 year hiatus from that station (The station would keep AT40: The 70's for 2 years until replaced in April 2018 for AT40: The 80's which ran on the WLS 94.7 FM station for 8 months would be dropped for good in January 2019 following the 2 week top 100 of 1986). For the 4/14/1973 optional extras, I'd replace "Will It Go Round in Circles" with Manu Dibango's "Soul Makossa" as a tribute since Manu passed away of COVID-19 recently. And my 4/14/1979 optional extras, I go with: HOUR 1 (First optional hour): "When You're In Love With a Beautiful Woman" - Dr. Hook HOUR 2: "Let's Get It On" - Marvin Gaye (AT40 Archive song - The 2 others of "Brother Louie" by Stories and "Delta Dawn" by Helen Reddy would stay in the broadcast). HOUR 3: "Just When I Needed You Most" - Randy Vanwarmer HOUR 4: "She Believes in Me" - Kenny Rogers (In tribute to the country singer who passed away - Could "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers also be a possibility? And maybe Premiere finally plays on AT40: The 70's the yet to air December 1, 1979 show where Kenny's "Coward of the County" enters AT40 territory later this 2020 year - but if Premiere does play on AT40: The 70's the yet to air November 24, 1979 AT40: The 70's episode "Coward of the County" will have to settle for an OPTIONAL EXTRA on that show)

HOUR 4: "She Believes in Me" - Kenny Rogers (In tribute to the country singer who passed away - Could "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers also be a possibility? "The Gambler" - last week on AT40 3/17/79, "She Believes In Me" first week 5/12/79. I guess both are equally possible.

I'd love to have someone splice Casey's voicework together for him to actually say that! LOL
