For those of you who REALLY like 'Can't Get It Out Of My Head', you're in luck tonight on our Aussie favorite, KLFM: Two times in the same hour!

For those of you who REALLY like 'Can't Get It Out Of My Head', you're in luck tonight on our Aussie favorite, KLFM: Two times in the same hour! The only difference was that one version was a bit longer than the other. I'm sure that someone on this board would be proud BTW, what was up with that crappy version of "Autobahn"? It sounded like one of those "Done Again Karaoke" versions that you would find on Spotify.

I was hoping to hear the 1975 show on 2NUR, but they had the 1986 show on instead. That year is not bad but a little after my time because I was almost 25 by then. Now I will try to find a station that has the 1975 show, sans the Premier ads.

I'm thinking the version of "Autobahn" we heard as an extra was a remix.

With time on my hands, here are the artists we'll be hearing 2 weeks in a row (3/29/75 & 4/10/76): Queen Eagles Styx ELO Barry Manilow Freddy Fender(!)

I hope the next time AT40: The 70's does a 1973 show, there should be an OPTIONAL EXTRA of "Soul Makossa" by Manu Dibango who recently died at the age of 81 of Coronavirus as a tribute.

4/10/1976 last aired in 2011 as a stand-alone, and in 2014 as a "B". Optional extras from 2011 and 2014 were: Hour #1: "Turn The Beat Around" - Vicki Sue Robinson Hour #2: "Silly Love Songs" - Paul McCartney & Wings Hour #3: "Love Hangover" - Diana Ross The optional extras are the same as the last two times.

Just noticed that this show gives us 1974, '75, '76, and '77 in consecutive weeks (with only 1977 out of place). It wouldn't be a surprise to get 1979 and 1978 in the following weeks either (in that order).

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 4/14/79 2nd Guess - 4/8/78
Premiere's scheduling seems to imply that 1979 will happen next week. 1973 is also overdue, but I'll guess 1973 happens again in May.

Two questions from this week's show about 'Fooled Around and Fell In Love': Did AT40 ever play the full LP version instead of the butchered (IMO)45 version? And did Casey ever switch to IDing the artist as 'The Elvin Bishop Group' (as future Jefferson Starship/Starship vocalist Mickey Thomas is the guy singing) instead of 'Elvin Bishop'? Can't remember the answer to either.
