In his intro to "It Only Takes A Minute",Larry Morgan stated that Tavares is from Rhode Island-That's incorrect-They're from New Bedford,Massachusetts. All the Tavares brothers were born in Providence, Rhode Island--only later did they move to New Bedford, Mass. Which is all of 31 miles to the east of PVD. Those tiny little states in the NE--the size of my county.

Something I never saw before about David Geddes -- conversation between him and Julie's dad after she jumped in the way of the shot? Really?? -- he recorded that between semesters of law(r) school at Wayne State... alma mater of Casey... but Larry's intro of different peak positions in different trade papers is better...

(Spock says as he raises that famous eyebrow).

For 8/21/1971 I'll pick these: "Do You Know What I Mean," Lee Michaels "If You Really Love Me," Stevie Wonder "Saturday Morning Confusion," Bobby Russell
When 8/14/1976 last aired in 2017, these were its extras: "Rock 'N Me," Steve Miller Band "Magic Man," Heart (edited to under three minutes, leaving in the original album cut's end!) "If You Leave Me Now," Chicago

Here's an interesting interview with Ralph Tavares. They were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2014: www.ukmusicreviews.co.uk/interviews/interview-ralph-tavares/

Spoiler alert: Ken Martin posted on Facebook a nicely made montage of clips giving us a "sneak peek" of a forthcoming show from September 5, 1970. Expect that the first weekend in September.

So there's no confusion, the 9/5/70 show does not air on Labor Day weekend, but the weekend of September 7 & 8. And it's partnered with ("B") the 9/9/78 program.

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 8/26/78 2nd Guess - 8/27/77
The well-known 8/26/78 has been played five times, but hasn't been played as an 'A' show since 2011 ('B' airings happened in 2012 and 2015). I'm thinking 1977 gets played the last weekend in August, but it could happen next weekend (and if so, 8/20/77 is also a possibility)...
