IMHO, this time the 2 hoster has been the worst ever. Noisy, nonsense and enjoying themselves, rather than the audience.

I have to agree with you a 100%....This was the worst show I heard all year from guest hosts.It was blah,blah,blah for 4 hours.

I wasn't too thrilled about the guest host either. However, I'm not a Glee fan. WKHQ in Northern Michigan didn't care for it either. On Sunday morning 8/14, instead of AT40, they just played their regular music. The WKHQ DJ was intro and outro the songs.
Funny, the only time the new AT40 section has new feedback is when their is a guest host.

Y'know, this summer is somewhat reminiscent of the first summer of CT40, when Casey was off every few weeks.
As for WKHQ, did they drop the show? Seems odd that they'd bring in a local DJ for one week...

I guess it was inevitable that "Glee" actors would eventually host (though none of their record-breaking number of Hot 100 chart entries has ever made AT40), but I think it would be much more interesting if Jane Lynch, in character, guest hosted instead. It would've been even more interesting if Heather Morris (as Britney) guest hosted. I only offer that suggestion because Heather Morris is hot.  |

As for WKHQ, did they drop the show? Seems odd that they'd bring in a local DJ for one week... I checked WKHQ this past weekend. They still air AT40, but new lousy time slot, Sunday morning from 6 to 10 am. It used to air from 8am to Noon. After 10 am, the local DJ come on the air. It appears WKHQ might be phasing out AT40, but finishing out the contract. |

And he sounds decent and serious. It´s a little bit annoying they use the zoo crow that much, the guy can do it by himself.

I like Jimmy Fallon, and I thought he did well this week (he mentioned this week on his show he was hosting and did a Casey impersonation) I assume he recorded his voicetracks in New York. The sound quality of his voicetracks was definitely not the best, imo.

Jimmy Fallon will be back for a second engagement in two weeks, filling in on the weekend of June 9-10. Incidentally, nobody else has guest hosted in the intervening six months, so apparently Premiere and the AT40 staff also liked his performance.
