Well once again, for this May 1989 show they use an October 1989 segment to lead off the top 10. Never got fixed.

Bonus show this time is Rick Dees WT40 November 10, 2001 CHR, despite APP says is November 12, 2001, Number 1 is Falling by Alicia Keys and there is also a promo of the show about Jay Z and a contest about his private life. Wich is different to the promos of November 03, November 17 and November 24, 2001.
This is the episode when Alicia is in her final week in at number 1, on Nevember 17, 2001 CHR number 1 will be JLo with I´m real
Bonus show starts with number 25, show is incomplete .

This maybe doesnt need to be commented, when using a mobile device for Rick Dees App, make sure that you have turn off all the other apps´s notifications in the ajust mode. Because notifications sound and ruin listening to shows or recordings of the shows from the app. I have noticed one notification with android and an incoming gmail message that ruins a segment of the D2K show, and of course avoid smartphones that are in use.

Well once again, for this May 1989 show they use an October 1989 segment to lead off the top 10. Never got fixed. I listened to it on WKVI and right away it was a dead giveaway when Rick wished Canada a happy Thanksgiving, lol. That segment had to be from 10/7/89. Though it was easy to figure out that the songs on the actual scheduled show had to be "I'll Be There For You" and "Wind Beneath My Wings".

I feel the Weekly Top 40 being reduced to a Smartphone App only thing is a really bad idea since there seem to be very few airings on radio stations. I don't even have a Smartphone. I only use my phone to make phone calls (like, isn't that what a phone is for?) Looks like we need Casey's Top 40 to be released to radio now more than ever. You can also download the app on your iPad which is what I did. Much easier to hear that way.

And so we move to this week at least for the retro shows for the 80s and 90s. 80s is 6/4/88 which is not only a repeat but was done 2 or 3 weeks ago. Can understand doing it this week but why 2 or 3 weeks ago instead of a May show? 90s is 6/1/96 which I just heard. Skipped one of my fave songs in it, "Wonderwall" by Oasis. And they did not need to because they were short on time. Played a breakout type of song by Bryan Adams. Did not need to because it was on the chart forever. It spent 21 weeks on the R&R chart. But they are using that R&B influenced chart or maybe some chart they grabbed out of the garbage can. So whatever the lame reason is, I don't know what it is. WT40 challenge is an easy one. It's "Someday" and Mariah has one of the few songs I like better than the Oasis tune in this show with "Always Be My Baby". Ok so saying SWV has great bodies is fine but saying 3T also has great bodies. I don't care how much money they were paying me, I would not say a male group had great bodies!

I noticed that too. I wonder if they will update this weekend. Since the shows are from Memorial Day weekend in their respective years, it wouldn't surprise me if they aren't changed until next weekend.

I hope they will update as always, that "brilliant and lastest frontier" newest APP ....
People always have the time to listen to on weekends, not a big deal if they updated the shows after Memorial Day weekend on a tuesday.....

I am seeing a pattern here with the 2000s shows.. He will play 2001-2003, and 2008-2009 only it seems. And occasionally a chart from the 2010s. But we have yet to see a countdown from 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
