D2K will be may 19, 2012 , that one has been updated. That is what app says. But compared with the show I have, the real date is May 12, 2012 CHR, with Usher in the second segment of hour 1. some shows have updated from 5.15 EST, CHR and D2K... It is May 12, 2012, as Rick refers to Mother's Day in the intro. Unfortunately, that makes all three retro shows now up that have the dates wrong, just like on Rick.com previously.

My workaround to get the app back on my computer was to download a free software called Koplayer. It allows you to download the Hit Music App so you can stream on any computer. The streaming hasn't stopped one time yet like the website player did frequently. The downside to the new player is that I've noticed a lot of "pops" in the playing like it's streaming from vinyl records. I'm still trying to figure out how to fix that. I had to find this work around because I record all the shows and there is no way to do that on my cell phone.

IMHO, May 17, 2003 CHR was the real D2K show servered to the stations, it has the same Rick Dees´s voice intro like the other syndicated shows, CHR and HAC, the 2012 show on the app has been choosen to match the Mother Day´s weekend thing.

At least on android, the 90s show , segment H1 Part 3 is skipped already three times.
OTOH, 80s show is really June 04, 1988 , mentions of the 1st week of June on segments H2 Part 1 and H2 Part 2.

TATU posed topless for the Spanish edition of Rolling Stone. bear has connections to Spanish things. he might have that edition . This makes 5 Dees shows from all 5 time frames that he has done shows over the last few days for me. The 1988 80s show, the 1993 90s show, this 2003 show, the 2012 Mother's Day D2K show and the current Hot AC show. Definite break from Dees after this show! He skipped Aaliyah. What a disgrace skipping a song by a deceased artist!

I feel the Weekly Top 40 being reduced to a Smartphone App only thing is a really bad idea since there seem to be very few airings on radio stations. I don't even have a Smartphone. I only use my phone to make phone calls (like, isn't that what a phone is for?)
Looks like we need Casey's Top 40 to be released to radio now more than ever.

BYO Channel and Rick Dees Hit Music Apps on iTunes / Apple / IOS are not working now how they both were working on last Saturday, for example. Shows stuck in one segment and that is all, one needs to log out and log in if. For example, 80s show on iTunes apps, at least according to my experience yestardy and today, cant go beyond segment H1S3.
App on Android works, it is not the last frontier of apps, but works with the issues we alredy know. I think I have never heard more segments again and again from shows by Dees in my whole life.

On the 2003 show, Rick said that Evanescence was the first act from Arkansas to hit the top 10 since Glen Campbell in 1977. However, during this time, Al Green had a comeback top 10, his duet with Annie Lennox, in 1988-89.

I guess I forgot to mention mobile devices, such as phones, ipads, samsung tablet, etc. I downloaded from ipad and it worked fine. Last time I tried was last Friday. I haven't used since I been busy. I might use those tonight..

Listening to the 80s show on a iPhone and it's actually gone smoothly so far (I'm halfway through hour 3). That's an improvement from last week, when I gave up trying to get past the first hour of the 80s and 90s shows (the 2000s one was OK.)

shows updated already, APP says 2DK is May 20, 2008
Edit, that is what the APP says, but the real date is May 24, 2008 CHR, because May 20 is not a real date in the rick dees calendar of 2008.
80s May 27, 1989, Regular show, Sure shot Madonna Express yourself
90s May 23, 1992, sure shot The best things in life are free Luther and Janet
the 80s is heard in the 90s show slot and viceversa...

They are consistent if nothing else. Those are all Memorial Day weekend shows. Of course a week too early from an anniversary standpoint. Don't hear the 1992 show before the 1989 show if you don't want to know what the #1 song in the 1989 show is before you hear it. (Because the artist that has that #1 song also has the #5 song in the 1992 show!)
