Rick Dees WT40 stations 80s/90s/HAC/CHR/AC

here's the fresh new thread that totally updates the stations.  Radio.nenad.net for some strange reason doesn't even update for few years.

This listing of stations will follow the same basic format as the AT40 shows threads, seen elsewhere on this forum: station call letters, slogan and regularly scheduled time and day of broadcast; all times are Eastern. For right now, I'm not going to list whether there is a live stream of the station, but many of these stations do have that;

Remember that because of individual station circumstances, there may be instances of stations starting the show early or late, at a different time or not at all; the circumstances vary widely.

www.timeanddate.com is a great site for converting time zones. I list the times in EST (eastern time zones)

I am sorting this in order of day and time starting with Saturday 12AM and to end Sunday/Monday 12AM

EDIT: As of Sat May 6, 2017, www.rick.com will no longer be used for streaming as it has removed audio shows from that site.  Instead these shows will be used on the Rick Dees App, but you have to download from iphone, smartphone, ipad, tablet, or any mobile devices. Then you have to create an account for you to listen. It includes Hot AC, CHR, 80s, 90s, D2K (2000s). But sadly no top 20 AC on the app feature. There are some other features: Hit App, etc.. i may have to check on that.

These shows will update by at least Friday night or Saturday (that really depends how it's scheduled). The app is only for USA viewers, but not for other countries..

KOMC FM can sometimes have issues with buffering or so with tunein

I wanted to wait until tonight to make sure nothing had changed on this station - I used to listen to the HAC countdown on this station (over the air) until I found the rick.com website (I still hate listening to ads). They have been running this show in this time slot since at least 2011.

It's crazy to think that 11-12 years ago Rick had hundreds of affiliates across the USA. Finding the Weekly Top 40 on a weekend morning then was as easy as finding AT40 with Seacrest is now. The times they have changed.

Also as of today, KMBQ Q99.7 unfortunately has dropped Rick Dees 90s WT40, and back to regular songs.

Have you had any chance to check KMBQ schedule if Rick Dees 80s is playing last night?  I looked at the schedule and WT40 80s have been dropped as well, but I accidentally forgot to listen to KMBQ to confirm if it's true.

KKOY FM this morning as of 10:30am are doing some local things on radio, which stopped in middle of airing Dees countdown.

So far, I haven't heard KLDJ fm playing Rick Dees as of 4PM EST though website says so. I sent an email to the staff and waiting for reply for what's happening.

Very sad to report that KORL 101.1 is no longer playing the WT40 (Hot AC). The station unexpectedly switched from "Today's Modern Mix" to "Oldies 101.1"! That's funny in 2 ways; it uses "oldies" in its brand (not common today) and it competes with KKOL (now the home of AT40 70's/80's!).

Anyway, during my time here, I have enjoyed listening to Rick on Friday afternoons including his "Aloha Friday" announcements and am sorry to see him go. I will have to get his show online now.

It got me thinking---Here on Oahu Island there no national countdown show playing the current hits! No Ryan (okay with me!), no iHeartRadio, etc. Unless there is a show I am missing on one of the stations, Hawaii is missing out on the "popular" national hits!

Also, everyone's best guess. Rick has had a great run, no doubt! (33 years, now?) For those of you in the know, any word on how long he will keep "counting down to #1"? It doesn't seem like he has too many stations now.

KMXA - Mix 99.9 FM plays the HAC version from 1-5pm Sundays.. However they are usually running over and for the last few weeks they have skipped the final segment (#1) to go to Backtrax USA at 5pm. Must be frustrating for those in North Dakota that never get to hear the #1 song every week.

As I've checked today CKIX has not been playing Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 at all. Only they remain to play AT40 with Ryan Seacrest. I wonder if they pulled WT40 shows off completely, but I'll put an email to any staff members of CKIX.
