When I first saw "TKO Radio" I was wondering if he was going to do a show on MMA and Boxing!
So is this where his "classic" shows mentioned in an earlier thread are going? Or are those still available or going to be available to local markets for weekly syndication?

Ok, for the first time I will bite on the extras guesses:
Beat It - Michael Jackson* It's Raining Men - Weather Girls She Blinded Me with Science - Thomas Dolby Little Red Corvette - Prince (probably the only sure bet on the list)
*if it isn't normal for an extra to be on the same show as another song or two from the same artist, I will go with "I Won't Hold Back" by Toto

It looks like based on that station master list in the cue sheets stations were allowed to air the show when they felt like it. I saw Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in addition to the weekends.

Ok, thanks.
Btw, I made an error on War. I was thinking it was #1 for 6 or 7 weeks.

I have a question, and I didn't know what thread to put it under as I only wanted to do it once but it covers both shows. I started recording the 80s show towards the end of last year, and recording the 70s show a couple of weeks ago. Every year can I expect to hear a show when the #1's War, Shadow Dancing, Physical, Billie Jean, and Every Breath You Take?

Has anyone been able to connect with WMGA, WV ? I just opened the computer to stopthe recording of it, and I saw it only recorded that opening advertisement. So, no it didn't work for me either.

You mean an Indiana Representative to the US Senate, not the Indiana Senate.

I record AT40: The 80's from WMGA, Magic 97.9 out of somewhere in West Virginia. The quality is good, but the volume is low. However, if you use Total Recorder you can push the master volume percentage up (I have mine to 395%) it records fine. They do play all of the optional extras every week.

I would like them to do the years of Radio & Records charts. I know I can probably keep dreaming though.

I emailed Record Research and asked about the 50's. The response I got said they would possibly to a DVD-Rom of the 50's charts, but it would be later this year.
This is the response I got:
Mr. Zimmerman We are planning to do a DVD - ROM I am not sure if we will do a Hardcover book - We may since we are doing that for the 2000's Plans for this will not be until much later this year Brent Olynick

FYI, the sale is still going on for the 60's-80's DVD-Roms. I ordered them today although I would much rather have had them in book form. I don't know that I will find the DVD-Roms as convenient as a hard copy, but other than the 70's they are "unavailable," have been since at least November, and I doubt with the DVD-Roms out they will ever be in stock again.

However I would think that their target would be a kids-oriented station, but then Disney already has their own countdown. What will probably happen is the affiliates that choose to air the show (and I don't think there will be many) will play it early in the morning just like the "Fox Kids Countdown" was. For affiliates that play Dees or AT40 at 7 or 8am, you'll probably see this show pop up and played before it.
