WJER won't start the show until after the Indians game is over, but they don't air it immediately afterward. Instead they'll start the show around midnight*, though I will check them at 11:00 just in case it starts at that time instead. *The last time I tuned into WJER after a game ended at 10:30, I had to wait until midnight for the show to start. Apparently. Some baseball teams or their flagship stations (especially if said flagship is a talker) could hold call-in shows following a game, and turns out that's exactly what WTAM does after the Indians. 'JER must think this would also interest their audience. dL

It's been mentioned that the show will follow the Cleveland football game was over with - whatever time that is. Not sure if it's even started yet, since I'm currently at work. FYI, the Cleveland Indians are a baseball team, not football.

WJER is a music station, so they play regular music during that time.
(The fact that they wait until 12:00 AM (or another even-numbered time) to air the show when outside of its regular 1:00 PM timeslot make me think that their PD is an OCD-type that has a thing against airing the show at "strange" times like 10:42 PM - 2:42 AM.)

Just a big thanks to WJER for airing this very special countdown (hopefully). I don't think many of us heard this show but why does WJER make things differcult. Instead of saying after the Indians game, they should give an estimated time. That way if the game goes over, we know the show will run around that time block. This is not an ordinary countdown, it's a countdown of the top 40 hits of the '90's, a rare occurrence. The station should have taken that into consideration and to make matters worse the game is not even aired on the station because MLB prohibits it.

Not aired online via the station. MLB like every other sports outlet offers mobile audio and internet audio for a fee. I don't see how difficult it is to figure out and why you or anyone else is holding the station accountable over this. Its simple: Look for the game time, add roughly 3 hours for the game, 1/2- 1 hour depending on how long they carry a post game show. Keep checking MLB Network or a score board for when the game ends to see if it goes into extra innings, is extremely slow, or whatever. Be glad this isn't a station carrying Red Sox and Yankees on a weekend they play. I'd say add roughly 6 hours for the game and then post game show after.

I just realized something... WJER doesn't air the four-hour shows when they come up in the schedule so chances are good that they'll start with hour #2.
Hopefully they'll make an exception since it's a special, but I'm not holding my breath.

The show picked up already in progress, in the middle of song #39, "My Lovin'" by En Vogue.

It is a bear when a station bolts into the sports arena as much as they do... Indians, Browns (the football team someone was looking for), Ohio State football and men's basketball, to say nothing of high school sports that often require a second stream to carry when multiple games are on... dL

So tonight's game was covered for 4 hours. If my calculations are correct this special should reair at 8pm on Monday (with a check at 7pm) if the game has no delays or extra innings.

Sorry, I disagree...from pre-game to post game 4 hours. WCBS-AM which carries the Yankee games here does not spend 1/4 of the day carrying Yankees baseball unless there are extra innings or a rain delay. BTW What does the Redsox have to do with it? So if tonight is any indication, Expect Mondays AT40 special to air either 7 or 8 pm weather permitting.
