I have R&R's AC charts for all the years except for October 1976 through December 1979. If you'd like chart info, e-mail me at ulij20@yahoo.com.

I wish R&R would put out a book of their chart archives. THAT would be cool to have. Billboards really doesnt mean anything to me after the end of 1992.

There was a book in the making of all chart formats for R&R, but that looks to be a lost cause at this point, since two of the people who were active in making that book have since left R&R and nobody at R&R seems to know anything about the book. If not for the possibility of copyright litigations, I'd take matters into my own hands and get the book published myself, since many people who posted on the old R&R boards put a lot of hard work into it. We got free quarterly subscriptions, but we also were told we'd get two copies of the book. Since it probably won't be published, I think we should get an extra month subscription, but with all the trouble that some of us had getting the quarterly subscription, I ain't gonna waste my time.

You got a free subscription to something because you post on a message board? What does it contain?

We were sent year end chart data and asked to put them in Excel spreadsheets. In return, we were to get the 2 copies of the book.
Who else involved in the chart project left R&R besides Ron?

Gary, who was the webmaster and wrote weekly chart articles in the late 90's. He helped publish the #1 song listing of various formats published in the weekly magazine. Funny thing, Ron was never in favor of the book idea until after Gary left.
Gary is now VP/Research & Audience Measurement at a large radio group.

Also, Tony has left R&R. He played a huge part in the #1 song listing in the weekly mag as well. Plus, he had his mugshot with his weekly column.

And I didn't even get my quarterly subscription, so all I got out of the deal was to keep the year-end charts they sent me..oh, and I put it on my resume.

Jeff, just keep trying for the quarterly subscription. If they're not going to put out the book, the least they can do is to give you what your "payment" was for working on the book. Tell them to contact Ron Rodigues. I got my quarterly subscription, which was after both Ron and Jeff Green had left. So go ahead, keep on trying.

that would be cool, has anyone ever seen the magazine ever sold in a store anywhere? I used to always hope I would find it there to purchase but have never seen one.
