meaning when it goes down the same path as AT40 did under the visionary leadership of ABC. Will the rights revert back to Casey Kasem 3 years after it dies like AT40's did?

According to what I've seen about Bob's CT40, I wouldn't be surprised if Casey gets credited as a creator of CT40 (wait, didn't he create CT40 in 1989 ), making yet another fine piece of the Casey Kasem library!

I doubt Bob will credit Casey for CT40. He had nothing(apart from the standard "if not for his vision of starting AT40, this show nor any of the others would exist" explanation) to do with it.

Why would Casey be credited for Bob's CT40?

I read that the style of Bob's show will be very similar to ACC's current style. Since ACC was created by Casey/Don, I was figuring that CT40 would also credit Casey/Don and perhaps Bob as well.

Let's continue the model. "Casey's Top 40" was modeled after AT40 in the Casey years. Casey and Don were not listed in the credits of CT40 as co-creators. They won't be listed in the credits of Kingsley's new show, either.

However, Kix will most likely continue reading the Kasem/Bustany credits each week.

However, Kix will most likely continue reading the Kasem/Bustany credits each week. Right. As did Shadoe and as does Ryan.

well, its hard to write an article and say the former 16 time syndication show of the year American Country Countdown heard on 400 200 75 3 radio stations worldwide.

I imagine this weekend was Bob's last regular edition of American Country Countdown. Next week I assume will be his annual "Christmas In America" show...and then the following week will be the debut of Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 with the Top 50 of 2005...as well as Kix's first show on ACC, again, I would assume it woul dbe the Top 50 of 2005.
Has Bob mentioned anything at all about Kix? My guess is he will leave the same way Casey left in '88. And I also think I would be safe to bet that many of his regular, casual listeners wont notice a thing has changed come January 1st.

Bobs Christmas in America show is to my knowledge always a seperate entity from the weekly countdown show. Bob has always had a regular weekly survey and done the Christmas show in addition to it. It even runs on stations that don't air ACC. I noticed last year WWKA in Orlando which runs Country Countdown USA was running "Christmas in America" as well as WPCV which airs American Country Countdown in the Central Florida area.
I highly doubt Bob will mention the Kix is taking over, it isn't like most people will hear his debut anyway so it wouldn't matter.

I just assumed "Christmas In America" would substitute for the weekly survey since Christmas is on the weekend. As we are seeing, there wont be any stations running Casey next weekend, so I didn't know how it would work.
