WSM-AM is airing 6/21/2014, which is the first show to be recorded after Casey Kasem's passing, even though he didn't create the Country Top 40 show - although he did create American Country Countdown in which Bob Kingsley was a part of as host for many years. The tribute at the end of the 2nd hour explains it all, in which this show ironically is airing today on the 10 year anniversary of Casey Kasem's death. charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/CT40%202014-0621.pdf

I'll have to listen to my copy of the show.

Here's the message posted on KFYZ's facebook page about tomorrow ACC show frm June 17, 1989 :
To our ACC listeners... We apologize in advance for an engineering defect heard in Hour 4 of this week's countdown from 1989; apparently a heat wave affected the original LP's!!

The 1978 show was only Bob's 8th show as full-time host. You'll still hear all the original jingles in that show, same as the 1977 show with Bowman hosting.

The American West special from 1976 was played in 2021, so it's possible it could be run again...being the 4th is a Thursday (as it was also in 1776), and it was during Bowman's ACC tenure.

Meanwhile today on WSM-AM a new feature debuts on CT40, the CT40 Vault, replacing the second listener request. This show originally aired the week of 7/5/2014 and would allow CT40 shows to be replayed on their website until they revamped it in 2018, usually going up on the Monday thereof. Come May 2015, ACC Rewind was born though it would omit the first hour and those too in their original format would also be up that Monday, usually airing 1990s shows though they occasionally aired the 2000s as well. Once the website was revamped to match other Cumulus websites they geo blocked both CT40 and ACC Rewind outside the US until ownership/host for CT40 changed after Bob Kingsley's passing. charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/CT40%202014-0705.pdf

With ACC Rewind, when the 2000s were featured, it was through 2005 (Country Top 40 was born on 12/31/2005 with the year-end show), but it was mostly either 2000 or 2001 that was played.

Here's the cue sheet from tonight's ACC special on KFYZ (and that number 50 jingle was also used on AT40 as they didn't have a separate number 50 jingle for ACC, both number jingles at the time do come from JAM, even though AT40 switched number jingles to another company that year and ACC would do so later that summer). charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/ACC%201989-0704%20Men.pdf
