Looks like they've skipped the March 18, 2006 show, this week they're playing the chart from March 25, 2006. Sometimes on the WSM-AM online stream there will be that brief pause that comes up from time to time.

Even though we're still in February, we're now into April 2006 as far as this week's show is concerned (April 1, 2006 to be exact), though the chart issue was on 3/24. worldradiohistory.com/Archive-RandR/2000s/2006/RR-2006-03-24.pdfLooks like songs #10 and #9 were swapped on air... seems that the amount of plays were very close or either there was some last minute changes on the chart before or after the fact. And some songs were edited in this week's show as well.

April 8, 2006 is featured this week and one of the things I've noticed is that a certain song can be in the Top 5 a week prior, only to have it be dropped out of the countdown completely this week. I guess Radio & Records/Mediabase 24/7 restricted songs with long runs compared to Billboard due to the rule of below #1 and three weeks without a bullet (which is still the case today with CT40 now).
I should note that the Kingsley archives as of the latest Country Aircheck Weekly issue (#745) have been donated to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, so huge congratulations to them (it took a lot of hard work to get this done).

I did notice there were system cue errors at some points during the show so therefore they used the previous week's show (April 8, 2006) as a result from time to time. Hopefully this week they won't have any issues with the chart they're featuring this week which is April 22, 2006 with the issue of 4/14. Glad they're keeping in the sponsors of the show intact. worldradiohistory.com/Archive-RandR/2000s/2006/RR-2006-04-14.pdf

Found a station that has aired 80s ACC shows the last two weeks (though it looks like any from the 1970s-1990s could air): KFYZTuneIn LinkThese air Wednesdays at 6 PM CT. ETA: Tonight, they played 3/24/1990. Lots of skips though; not remastered (yet). This show was still on vinyl then; the first CD show was on 6/16/1990.

Looks like there are problems with the WSM-AM online live stream today, I've tested some browsers (even TuneIn) and when I try to click the play button it doesn't play the live stream at all (goes back to a play button within a split second). Same goes true even when connecting to a VPN, so unless they fix the issue online, we're probably not going to know what CT40 show is featured this week unless if tuned in to the radio.

Happy to say that the WSM-AM online stream has been fixed, my gut feeling last week was either the internet went out, or it could have been weather related. In the meantime, they are doing May 13, 2006 (which happens to be Mother's Day that weekend), so they probably either skipped April 29 or May 6's show last week. worldradiohistory.com/Archive-RandR/2000s/2006/RR-2006-05-05.pdf

Interesting to note that both of the listener song requests were from the same artist which reminds me, did that situation ever happen on ACC when they featured their ACC mailbag segment? If not, that could be a first...

Tonight, KFYZ is playing 4/10/1982.
ETA: At the close of Hour 2, Bob mentioned a new #1. This practice ended over four years ago on AT40. I like the suspense.
Also noticed the 1978 theme/jingles haven't changed yet; I have the 1982 year-end and they are different. Plus the fiddle music synonymous with Don Bowman's tenure (still used to close out the hour) is phased out before the end of the year. Just curious when that changed. I remember on 4/24/1982, AT40's theme and bumper jingles changed.

I'm thinking it was sometime later in the spring when it was changed, again this was around the time when ABC Watermark's sale from Watermark Inc. was finalized. I don't think the commercials were reinstated until 1984 so they were without local station commercials still running commercial free.
Meanwhile on WSM-AM, they're playing the chart from May 20, 2006.
