Not quite. This song was a hot one - like seven inches from the midday sun. Havana? Camilla sounds like Santana and Rob?

It was Havana. You can literally listen to one of those songs and sing the other (and sometime last year, Sunny 101.5 played both songs back to back - that great or what?) 3) As big as this song was, many people apparently thought it was - what? If you're stumped, then by all means, let me know!

I'll guess "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk/Pharrell. It was huge, but it wasn't #1 on a number of charts.

No, not quite. (Moreover, "Hello" is not on the list, as it only got as high as #2 - an example of a multiple-week song on Billboard/Mediabase not quite making it on my chart that I mentioned at the beginning of the game).
The artist's first hit was named after an action/adventure TV series from the 80s. But this wasn't the song in question, which is the artist's longest-running song on Mediabase.

It's Ed Sheeran (that action/adventure series was "The A-Team"). "Thinking Out Loud"?

Right artist, wrong song ("Thinking Out Loud" didn't quite make it on my chart - peaked at #2 behind "Uptown Funk").

Correct!
2) This artist's cousin was one of the incarnations of Dr. Who.

Lewis Capaldi (I know Capaldi was the last name of one of the recent incarnations)?

There ya go!
And now, we are up to the top, yet there are many big hits that we haven't gotten to yet. That's because, regardless of how many points the songs have, if they never hit #1, they're not among the list.
1) This was the final song to hit #1 within the survey period.
