HERVARD'S TOP 1000 OF THE 2010's (List on last page)

OK, I'm not sure whether or not this kind of thing is allowed on the AT40 boards, but I'm gonna take a shot at it (if it is, in fact, not allowed, the by all means - delete this topic. This is a top hits guessing game – the biggest songs of the 2010s, according to the chart system I use that combines the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 charts with my personal preference (which I have since given a name to – Hervard's Hot 40). But this game is a little different than my previous games that you may have seen on different message boards. In those, the chart consists of the Top (insert chart size) of (insert time period), ranked according to the standard inverse point system. In this one, even though that same system is used, only the songs that hit #1 on my chart count. From January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2019, there were 119 songs that hit #1 on my chart. This might be a little more difficult than one might think, since there are many songs that topped the Billboard and Mediabase charts that did not quite make it on my chart – including some of the biggest hits of the decade, even a few songs that spent multiple weeks on top. Conversely, there were a few songs that topped my chart that fell short on Billboard or Mediabase. So having a list of the #1 songs throughout the decade will provide limited help. But that's not so bad – it makes the game a little more interesting.

118) The Top 40 debut hit from one of the best new artists of the 2010s (although her first hit was from the previous decade, but it did not hit the Top 40 Mainstream chart).

116) A different song by this title sounded like Corey Hart's debut hit.

119) The title of this song is the description of the singer's heartbeat.

117) The male half of this collaboration is a rapper.

116) This song paved the way for the chart career of the artist that was featured in the song, (a man from New Jersey) as he had a handful of Top 20 hits, while this was the last Top Ten for the main artist.

The remaining song is #119. This was this artist's debut hit and, even though it hit #1, the artist never even hit the Top 20 again.

Nope - "Feel It Still" was their only hit. This artist had several more hits, the highest peaking at #23 (on Mediabase).

Hervard must have graduated from Harvard. I'm going to sit back and wait on another clue for 119 as I don't think "Ho Hey" is the description of a heartbeat.

The Lumineers only had one chart hit as well.

Moreover, I made a mistake. This artist only had two other Top 40 hits besides the #1. The other two chart hits peaked in the 40s, just missing the Top 40 portion of the Mediabase chart.

The artist was featured on a #1 hit earlier in the same year that her own song hit the top.
