These are the errors from 1/31/1987 (currently airing on the Classic AT40 channel as I'm posting this): 1) The Question Letter after Can't Help Falling in Love is "Top Ten Song Written Be a Prisoner". 2) At #29 (also a LDD) is Somehwere Out There (this error is also seen on the 1/24/1987 cue sheet). 3) #17: "Down" is left off of Love You Down. 4) #16: Survivor's Is the Love. 5) #15: Kool and the Gang's latest one-word song: Vicotry. And one more: it doesn't indicate that Billy Joel's "This Is the Time", at #18, was also an LDD.

On the 3/21/87 countdown - #12 - "Livin' on a Prayer" - is an LDD and the cue sheet isn't marked as such.

The only real mistake on the 3/31/79 cue sheet was the Jacksons' "Shake Your Body Down" at #35. The title was actually "Shake Your Body (Down To the Ground)", which would have been correct with or without parentheses, but not the way it was listed.
On 3/30/85, "Careless Whisper" is listed as just "Wham", when it was credited officially to Wham! Featuring George Michael, and to George solo in most other territories, but I guess that can slide.
The 3/24/73 cue sheet lists the Sweet's song as "Little Willie" when it was really "Willy", though again that's not really a substantial error. And while the cue sheet is correct, the soul chart in that issue of Billboard listed the Spinners' hit as "Could It Be I've Fallen In Love". The Hot 100 got the title right.

It's too bad Watermark, producers of AT40 and American Country Countdown, never planned a Soul/R&B spinoff version of AT40 using Billboard's Hot Soul/R&B Singles chart for Soul/R&B music radio stations or there would be cue sheet errors for that as well. Wish there was some American Country Countdown cue sheets so we can spot errors as well.

The cue sheet for November 18, 1978 has the song at #29-- The Power Of God--Dan Fogelberg & Tim Weisberg (Wow! I didn't know that the Almighty made it into the countdown). Of course it should be Gold...

This week's shows:
4/13/74: #22 is "Tell Me a Lie" by "Sammi Jo" (only one M in her first name); 21 is "Keep On Singing" by "Hlen" Reddy"; #6 is "Sunshine On My Shoulder" by John Denver (should be both his shoulders); and #5 "Come and Get Your Love" by "Red Bone" (only one word).
4/16/77: The "Philadelphia Freedom" extra only has Elton John's initials listed; #8 ("Love Theme From 'A Star is Born'") leaves Barbra Streisand's name out altogether; and #5 is "The Things We Do For Love" by "Ten cc" (actually stylized as 10cc).
4/19/86: #31 is "On My Way" by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald (of course it's "On My Own"); #26 is "Saturday Love" by "Cherrell" and Alexander O' Neal (leaving the silent E off of Cherrelle's name); and "Be Good To Yourself" at #39 and "Kiss" at #1 have no A and/or B listed after them, which indicated the performance rights organization (ASCAP and BMI).

If you go to the Charis Music Group site and click on 7/11/70 for the debut show, you’ll get an attempted reconstruction of the old Watermark cue sheets, with the original 70s/early 80s AT40 logo, that includes several errors. Hours 1 and 2 don’t end in the right places, and one song in Hour 3 (Elvis’ “The Wonder of You”, at #9), is left off altogether.

October 4, 1980 cue sheet indicates the song at #35, The Legend Of Wooley Swamp is by Bob Seger--wow was that a remake of the same song by the Charlie Daniels Band.

On October 20, 1979 Dionne Warwick's "I'll Never Love This Way Again" was at #5 and was also a Long Distance Dedication, which isn't indicated on the cue sheet.

Not so much of an error but does anyone know what those A's and B's next to each song title on the cue sheets mean??
