Slammin' Sam Myers is in an Album Rock mood for three weeks in a row. During today's Top 50 Album Rock Countdown from 1983, he announced he'll be counting down the Top 50 Album Rock Songs from March 1981 next Friday 3/17/23 and the Top 50 Album Rock Songs from March 1984 on Friday 3/24/23. As always, he'll be combining the Billboard and Radio and Records charts to create his own chart, and he indicates that the Billboard Album Rock chart started in mid-March 1981, so next weeks 1981 countdown will pull from the first Billboard Album Rock chart ever published.
Make sure to tune in, or you just might miss something.
