On the AT40: The 80's 8/6/1988 episode (The last Casey AT40 prior to Shadoe Stevens's takeover) OPTIONAL EXTRA of "The Loco-Motion" by Kylie Minogue, Larry Morgan mentioned Kylie is one of many artists to hit the top 40 to skip a decade and also mentioned Meat Loaf, David Cassidy, and Enya She might possibly do it again; she has a new song from her upcoming album called Padam Padam that's her first huge UK/Australian hit in over a decade and could become her first Top 40 song since Love At First Sight in 2002. "Padam Padam" finally entered AT40 this week. A couple of weeks ago it was played as an extra and Ryan noted Kylie's potential of skipping two decades on the countdown, making AT40 in the 1980s, 2000s, and now 2020s but not the 1990s or 2010s. |

It looks like 'N Sync will do this. Their new song "Better Place" from the latest Trolls movie is set to make the top 40 next week on CHR airplay. They skipped the 2010's.

It's a shame Aqua missed the 2000s; their 2000 album, "Aquarius", has some pop-worthy gems on there.
