Looks like Ginuwine will join this list, as it looks like his mash-up with Britney Spears, "Toxic Pony" is set to make the top 40 on Mediabase (and likely AT40 shortly afterwards). If it does, he skipped the 2010's.

Carly Simon skipped the 90s between "Coming Around Again" in 1987 and "Son Of A Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You)" in 2002.

Another one I found out: De La Soul made Shadoe AT40 in 1989 for 3 weeks with "Me, Myself, and I", then skipped hitting AT40 (even during the Feb. 1995-March 1998 furlough when AT40 ceased for a few years before Casey Kasem revived it in 1998) in the 1990's, but returned to the AT40 territory now in the Ryan Seacrest era in 2005 performing on "Feel Good, Inc." by Gorillaz.

How about Enya? She hit the Top 40 with "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)" in 1989, and didn't hit the Top 40 in the US again until "Only Time" in 2001. And then was featured on Mario Winans' 2004 hit "I Don't Wanna Know".

Kenny asked What About Me w/Kimmy and Jimmy in 1984. But Gambler wouldn't Buy another top 40 Rose until 2000. "Buy Me a Rose" never made second era Casey AT40 in 2000.

Not top 40 but Williams Bros had Hot 100s in the 70s and 90s.

With the remix of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" making AT40 in 2022, Kate Bush skipped 3 decades - 1990's, 2000's, and 2010's.

Jimmy Cliff reached the Top 40 in 1970 with "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" and in the mid-90s with "I Can See Clearly Now".

Cherish is currently in the top 40. Their last top 40 hit was in 2008. The song title "Cherish" skipped the '70s--The Association hit number 1 in the '60s with their song by that title. There were two songs called "Cherish" in the 1980s: one by Kool & the Gang in 1985 and the other by Madonna in 1989. I just met a woman named Cherish the other day.

David Cassidy covered the Association hit in 1971-72.
